About Kelly

Hi, I’m Kelly

Speaker, author, podcast host, teacher — and someone who once felt the same tension you might be feeling right now.

Wife, mother of three daughters, and follower of Christ. I’ve spent the past several years building a body of work centered around one conviction: that we can honor God with how we care for our bodies, build our habits, and steward the lives He’s given us.

My Story

From the classroom
to this calling

I know what it feels like to struggle with balancing fitness, faith, and the demands of a busy life. Like many women, I wanted to live a healthy, vibrant life with Christ at the center — but every time I tried, the busyness of life got in the way. My spiritual and physical health kept ending up at the bottom of my own priority list.

For nearly twenty years, I taught elementary school. I loved it. I have a Master’s in Education and built my career around helping children grow and discover who they were created to be. Teaching shaped how I think about everything — how people learn, how habits form, how transformation happens slowly through repetition and rhythm.

But over time, I felt called to something different. I had earned personal training certifications on the side, fascinated by the connection between caring for the body and growing in faith. I started weaving prayer into quick workouts. I started exercising while listening to Scripture. And I noticed something: my time with the Lord deepened when I integrated it with how I cared for my body.

Caring for our bodies is not about chasing perfection — it’s about living with wisdom, self-discipline, and purpose so we can fully step into the life God has for us.”

That’s where SoulStrength Fit was born. A faith-based fitness program where Scripture isn’t added on top of the workout — it’s woven into it. Where Bible study and strength training happen at the same time. Where caring for your body is treated as the spiritual discipline it’s always been.

Since then, the work has grown. I’ve published eleven books on faith, health, and Christ-centered living. I’ve been featured on I’ve been featured on national Christian television and through a global broadcast in 150+ countries. I created SoulStrength Fit Kids, drawing on my classroom years to help children learn the Bible through movement. I host two podcasts. I speak to women’s ministries and conferences across the country.

It all flows from the same conviction I’ve had since the beginning: everyone deserves to live a healthy, fulfilling life — body, mind, and spirit. And every part of that life, even our workouts, can be done for the glory of God.

I’m so glad you’re here.

What I Believe

The convictions
that shape this work

01

Our bodies belong to God

Scripture is clear that our bodies are not just physical vessels — they’re temples of the Holy Spirit. How we treat them is a form of worship.

02

Discipline beats motivation

Motivation is a feeling. Discipline is a decision. Lasting transformation comes from rhythms built over time, not bursts of inspiration that fade.

03

Wellness culture has it wrong

The world tells women to chase perfection, optimization, and self-actualization. Scripture invites us to wisdom, stewardship, and purpose instead.

04

Grace, not legalism

Caring for our bodies isn’t about earning anything from God. It’s a response to who He is and a way to fully step into the life He has for us.

05

Faith and health are inseparable

We don’t leave our spiritual life at the gym door. Every workout, meal, rest day, and quiet moment can be an act of worship and connection.

06

Community accelerates everything

Women grow faster, deeper, and more sustainably together than alone. Real transformation happens in real relationships rooted in Christ.

Statement of Faith

What I believe, in brief

  • The Bible is the inspired Word of God.
  • There is one true and eternal God, who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • Jesus Christ is God’s eternal Son and will return to earth as King.
  • The Holy Spirit calls us to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as Savior.
  • Men and women were created in God’s image, separated from God by sin, and forgiven through rebirth in Christ.
